USS Brown

Thomas and the boys bought a duck hunting boat. They love it and took me out on it Saturday evening. It was so cold and I even sported a camouflage life jacket. Here are a few pics.

It was also closing weekend for soccer, Citgo's family picnic, and our rain gutter regatta for scouts. Busy packed weekend. Loving every minute.

Mom and Me Campout

This weekend was our annual Mom and Me Campout. We had so much fun. We had a manners class, canoed, hiked, rock wall, made snores, are lots if snack and yummy chili and walked the monkey bridge. Great memories.  There was a storm that came through and lots of moms packed up and left. It's so amazing how quickly people left. We stayed and so did 7 other moms....we rock!!!  It only ended up raining for about 30 minutes. I am so blessed to know these amazing moms and to call them friends.

Our boys are growing up way too fast. I am so proud of them all. When we got home Simon wanted us to go play frisbee golf so we did. I am wildernesses out for at least a week. Ha.

LSU vs Florida

Tigers win!!!  What a great weekend we had in Baton Rouge with our LSU uncles. We had so much fun and didn't want to leave. We tailgates all day until kickoff and cooked  jambalya. It was HOT outsid but the boys didn't mind. They were such troopers. There is no stadium like Death Valley. It was great to back and Thomas felt like a student again.

After the game we ran into some LSU cheerleaders and took a quick picture with them. We packed up the tailgate tent and went to cool off for a bit. We went to eats dinner at Rotolos. It was so close to the uncles so we walked to dinner and caught the Georgia game.  When we decide to leave it was raining so we ran home in the rain. Boys loved that.

I thought the boys would have been ready to go to sleep after dinner but they weren't. Lol. Uncle Chris took them to play fooseball and shuffleboard. Awesome.

We woke up this morning and walked to breakfast at Kolaches. Boudin Kolaches. Yum. They loved walking everywhere.

After breakfast we took the boys to see Mike. He was napping. His paws at huge. 450 pounds of Bengal.  We also took the boys by Thomas' dorm and apartment where he lived until he graduated. Great moment for him to share with the boys.

And of course we had to stop by the chi omega house. Great weekend down memory lane. We shared so many fun, silly, exciting times here. So glad we were able to share our stories with the boys and have them relive it with us. So blessed!!!

My grandmother turns 80

My beautiful grandmother turned 80 this past weekend. We threw her a surprise party on the river. Here are a few pictures.  We are so blessed to have her as a wonderful mentoring mom and grandmother. Love you Maw Maw. Emma Jean Dupre.

Fall Soccer

Both boys are playing fall soccer.  We love watching them play. Will plays goal most of the time and is such a great player. Louis is more interested on snacks and socializing. Ha!!!
