Baby GIRL

Yes!!!! We are having a baby girl. Well, Brandon and Leanne are but we are so excited to have a baby girl in our family. I can't wait for pink, ruffles, tutus and shopping! They decided on a beautiful name.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers for my mom. Here's an update. She started her chemotherapy yesterday. Her whole treatment will take about fourteen months to complete. She will do two different round of chemo, radiation and then the h drug. So please continue to prayer for her strength and health.

Auction

Our school auction is the largest fundraiser for our school. I love this time of year! So many faces on campuses helping make this special night come together. This year with my classroom Camp Brown reading tent being a huge hit, we decided to donate a girls "Owl" themed hot pink and turquoise tent and a boys "LSU" purple and gold tent. With each tent I added a fluffy tent rug and themed gift baskets. They included lots of LSU and Owl items from books to tent lights. My friend Haley did an amazing job sewing them. They did really well and was glad the profits go straight to our school.

The other thing we donated was a sewing/embroidery party for six girls. Here is a picture of what they will make and take home after spending the day with me. Tote bag, makeup bag, beach towel, pillowcase. Should be lots of fun!
