This morning (at 4:30am I might add) we drove down to
Matagorda Bay. We went to play on the beach, build sandcastles and to do a little fishing. The boys had a blast. We wanted to pick up an ice chest of fresh oysters but we weren't able to get anymore live oysters until November.
Matagorda was great! Afterwards we went to our neighborhood Summertime kickoff party at our clubhouse. What a fun Saturday :-)
I just love this picture. No one was looking and I was able to capture the entire morning in one shot. I am so very blessed to be a wife and mommy to these amazing boys :-)

Simon loved our canoe! It kept him dry and from eating the sand!
