A Texas Winter Wonderland!
Friday, December 4, 2009:
After much anticipation and a lot of prayers from our boys, it snowed in Katy on Friday. It started snowing at our house right before we left our house for school (7AM). So I grabbed a towel and we headed out the door. Will and Louis wanted to drive with the sunroof open the whole way so that they could caught the small little flurries we saw. It was so much fun. The towel came in very handy to clean up the car!
Once we arrived at school Will and I ate our donuts in the fountain area just like every Friday morning before chapel, but to much surprise we found out we were leaving school early! How exciting was that!!!
We left school early and headed home. By this time(noon) our car was completely covered with snow and ice. Will thought this was awesome! On the way home it was pouring snow...literally. We played all afternoon and made two snowmen in one our of community fields (AKA...Charlie's walking path).
We had so much fun playing, making snowballs, snowmen, snowangles and even eating a little bit of it! :-) We hope you enjoy these pictures of our winter wonderland day in Katy!

Book Fair and Elfy!
Monday, November 30, 2009:
The book fair was this week! We started the week off with character day and ended the week with Dads and donuts! So fun! We also put up our Christmas tree (more pics to come) and started our elf on the shelf tradition again. The boys are having just as much fun this year with "Elfy" than they did last year! :-) Here are a few pictures!
Very Thankful!

We spent most of the week of Thanksgiving in Lake Charles. We left Tuesday morning and returned home Sunday! We had so much turkey! Thomas and his dad fried them, and my family baked them. Delicious! We had a great visit and spent two nights with the Browns and two nights with my family. It was so nice having everyone together again! My brother and Miss Leanne even got a chance to come down to visit. We are so thankful for such great friends and supportive family!

Fall Ball - Star Student
Tuesday, November 17, 2008:
The Fall Season of T Ball has come to an end! Will is becoming a great little ball player. He seems to either play pitcher or first baseman! Here are a couple candid shots!
Will was also chosen for Star Student for the Week of Novmember 9th. He collected photographs from all walks of his little life and made a poster with captions. You would guess it was science related and camping and sports! Go William! We are so proud of the person you have become!
On a sad note, Louis has the flu....Strand A. I was home with him yesterday, today and also tomorrow. He is living off of sweet tea and moltrin! We love you Lu-Lu!

Kindergarten Adventure
Friday, November 6, 2009:
Today was our first Kindergarten field trip! I was so excited about spending the day with Will and all of his friends. His class is so sweet and loving to one another. Mrs. Roberts had an action packed day planned for us. First, we went to Johnny Carino's to learn about wait staff and manners all while getting to make pizzas! The parents got to make one too! The kids loved this!
Next stop was to one of classmates Ranch! It was amazing and so peaceful. The children got a chance to see her trian a horse, feed many different animals and got hang out away from the city!
Lastly, we visited one our mothers at work. She is a OB here at Herman Memorial in Katy. She gave us a tour, told us about her job, let them listen to each others heartbeats, look under a micrscope at a piece of hair and saw a 9 week old baby on the ultrasound machine.
What a blessing to have a wonderful family, school, teachers, friends, and kindergarten parents to guide our sweet children in the journey we call LIFE!
